During the pandemic, do you know friends, relatives and people around you who departed from this world unexpectedly? The COVID-19 pandemic reminds us that life is fragile. This reminds us to review many aspects of our lives, our jobs, our finances and also our purpose in life. The pandemic reminds us what is valuable and what is priceless.
Your wealth, your assets and your achievements are valuable, but there are things that are considered priceless, such as health, family and the legacy that we leave behind.
I conducted a lot of webinars during the time of this pandemic on a variety of topics, such as health, stress management, entrepreneur talk show and many more, but the most successful webinar for me was the topic of charitable planned giving programs.
Do you wish you had planned for the livelihood of your loved ones whom you will leave behind? Are you open to the idea that you can use your money to have an impact on millions of people even after you no longer exist on this earth? With a charitable planned giving program, you can leave a legacy to your favorite charity foundation.
You can magnify your donation with a charitable planned giving program. You only need to pay 1 to 2 percent as your life insurance premium. For example, by putting aside a $1,000 premium per year with a charitable planned giving program, you can magnify your donation into $100,000. You may appoint a charity organization or a church as the beneficiary of these policies.
Feel the joy of giving. Imagine that one day, after you no longer exist on this earth, the amount of money from this policy will benefit many people. It may help millions of people whom you can’t see. However, by faith you can see that this amount of money can benefit others.
The joy of giving. That’s what I am as an insurance advisor, and I also can feel the joy of imagining that one day many lives may get impacted from this charitable planned giving program.
Surprisingly, when I brought up the charitable topic, many participants from the webinar responded positively. They shared this with their friends and relatives. They shared my webinar invitation, and guess what? I got many leads to follow up. I was also invited several times to speak with their organizations and explain this charitable planned giving program.
Here are some positive comments from my clients: “This is amazing.” “You created a special policy for the foundation. I never thought about that.” “When I reach age 53 this year, I will think more about what legacy I can leave.” “This year I could not travel during the holidays due to the pandemic. I’d like to allocate my holiday budget to creating a legacy for the nonprofit organization that I work for.”
The joy of giving. What we offer to them is not solely a product but the experience of feeling the joy of giving.
I achieved MDRT in just one month in September 2020 and again in October 2020, and those allowed me to qualify for my first Top of the Table in 2020.
I am so excited to help people experience the joy of giving through charitable planned giving programs.
